Dates

• Participants will have 4 weeks to develop their projects, from September 20 through October 18.
• Participants must be able to attend the in-person Showcase Day at Stanford University on October 25.

Eligibility:

• The Youth for Earth (Y4E) Hackathon is open to Bay Area high school students.
• Participants may compete individually or in teams of 3.
• Participants must be able to attend the in-person Showcase Day at Stanford University on October 25.
• All participants must complete registration by the designated registration deadline.

Project and Submission Requirements

• Projects must address a climate or environmental challenge.
• Projects should represent the participant's or team's own work and ideas.
• Participants may use existing tools, software, datasets, research, and other resources when appropriate, but outside materials must be properly credited.
